Beck's Borveranda
In the summer of 2020, our family's rural hospitality and event venue, Beck’s Borveranda, opened its doors in Palkonya, one of the most charming small villages in the Villány wine region in Southern Transdanubia. Visitors can get to know Swabian traditions and our family’s history. We offer a unique experience: our hospitality and service venue, built from renovated Swabian farmhouses, provides a special atmosphere for our guests. Our restaurant provides meals for groups of 90 or more people, with options including wine tastings, bowling, and adventure tours.
Our guests can choose from à la carte menu or a 2-course meal on weekdays and a 3-course menu on weekends. Our restaurant is suited for weddings, family- and company-festivities. Restaurantcapacity 75 people in the restaurant, + 80 people on the terrace and in the tent.

Ulmer Schachtel
The boat „Ulmer Schachtel“, with its flat appearance, was built for its only purpose to float downstreams. That was how our svabian ancestors reached their settlement area in Hungary in the 18th. century. We at the Borveranda rebuilt the Ulmer Schachtel in its original size to appreciate the svabian tradition.

WINE CELLAR
Our wine cellar is located on the cellar row.
Just across from our Wine Terrace, on a quiet street, lies our family-owned Beck's Wine Cellar, fully renovated in 2020. The guest area, cellar, and traditional oven are all modern and welcoming. Upon request, we host intimate wine tastings for groups of 7 to 20 people — optionally paired with delicious oven-baked dishes.
